Hayley Orantia is an American actress, musician and acrobat. Many people know her from her character as Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series "The Goldbergs.' She is primarily a musician. She says that music is always been her primary passion. After she turned 12 years old, music was taken seriously enough to warrant professional training. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was 14 when she made her first album of cover songs. Since then, she has not stopped ever since. Orrantia, born in America, but has Hispanic roots. She has Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English when a young girl and her whole life was in the USA. Her aim is to preserve it by creating Spanish songs and studying the Spanish language. She recorded an Spanish version of a track, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia had been chosen by a panel of YouTube videos and received the four "yeses," from judges who were in Seattle at the time of live auditions. Though she initially auditioned on her own in "Hollywood Week" She, along with three female performers were placed in groups for the remaining part of the auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week during the live show.
