Hayley is an American actor and singer. Many people recognize her character Erica Goldberg in the comedy The Goldbergs' TV show. But, she is to be primarily an artist. It is her first passion. It's something she is experimenting in since the age of nine years old. As she grew to the age of 12, the music she was playing took more serious form and she began to train professionally. After experimenting with music, she decided to record her album of songs at age fourteen. Since then she's never ever looked back. Orrantia is a native of America and has Hispanic origins. She has Hispanic roots even though she spoke English when a young girl and spent her entire life in the United States. She tries to maintain it through studying Spanish and writing songs in the language. "Hasta Verte" is a song in Spanish which she recorded is a good example. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was awarded the X Factor's four "yeses" to the judges at the Seattle live audition stage following being selected from her YouTube entry. The first time she was auditioning for soloist, she as well as three female singers were put in the final auditions in "Hollywood Week". They were eliminated in the fifth week in the live performances.
