Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul musician, actor and songwriter. She's won an Grammy Award and Children's and Family Emmy Award. Golden Globe Award and Academy Award nominations are also an honor for her. Andra is not simply a throwback R&B artist, but also a gospel singer. Her jazz roots and blues are displayed in a way that's effortless and sophisticated. Day then released her debut track Forever Mine. The song was immediately picked up by DJs who began broadcasting it to the radio. After signing in 2015 to Warner Bros. Records she started working on her debut album Cheers To The Fall with Adrian Gurvitz. The album featured Rise Up which has become an international anthem of social justice movements. The album received nominations two times for Grammys. The album was nominated as Best R&B Album. In 2019 she released her second album The United States vs. Billie Holiday a concept album about the life of the legendary jazz vocalist. In addition, she was a part of The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a film about Holiday. Andi Matichak is an American actor. She first appeared in television series like 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods before making her film debut as Allyson Nelson on the horror movie series Halloween as well as the sequels. Andi matichak is an American actor who was born in Framingham on the 3rd of May 1994.
