Pickler who was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, experienced a difficult childhood. She was just two when her mother left her to get away from the abusive marriage. Pickler was brought back to her mother in 1995 when she assumed custody. However it did not take place as expected. When she turned 12, the court gave back Pickler to her grandparents - whom she grew up with. Pickler, in the absence her parents and her older siblings, became too busy to have a family. The time she had was limited and she learned how to care for the family from a very young age. Pickler was a member of the middle and high school's cheerleading squad. North Stanly High School was where Pickler graduated from in the year 2004. Pickler tried out her luck in the world of beauty contests. Her name was Miss Stanly.
